Ingredients
 
 

  • 12 oz Spaghetti
  • 1 lbs Ground Beef
  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • 2 Carrot finely chopped
  • 3 Garlic Cloves minced
  • 1 Can Crushed tomatoes 14 oz
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 2 Stalk Celery finely chopped
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions
 

  • In a large pot, heat some olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
  • Add the onion, garlic, carrot, and celery to the pot. Sauté for 5 minutes until the vegetables are softened.
  • Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, dried basil, dried oregano, bay leaf, salt, and pepper. Bring the sauce to a simmer.
  • Reduce the heat to low and cover the pot. Let the sauce simmer for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together. Stir occasionally.
  • Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Once the sauce is ready, remove the bay leaf. Add the cooked spaghetti to the pot and toss it with the sauce until well coated.
  • Serve the One-Pot Spaghetti Bolognese in bowls, garnished with fresh basil leaves and grated Parmesan cheese

Notes

Feel free to add grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil for extra flavor
