Food has been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember. From a young age, I found solace and joy in the kitchen, mesmerized by the sights, sounds, and aromas that filled the air. I knew early on that I wanted to pursue a culinary path and make my mark in the world of gastronomy.
My dream was to become a pastry chef, creating exquisite desserts that would bring smiles to people’s faces. I was accepted to the world-renowned Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute, a dream come true. However, due to unforeseen financial circumstances, I was unable to attend. Despite this setback, my determination and love for baking remained unwavering.
With the exception of baking adventures with my Aunt Anna, who shared her wisdom and techniques, I am primarily self-taught. I have spent countless hours poring over cookbooks, studying recipes, and experimenting in my own kitchen. Each creation became an opportunity for growth and refinement, fueling my passion for the art of baking.
Today, I have the privilege of sharing my baked creations with family, friends, and even my coworkers. There is nothing quite like the joy of seeing faces light up as they indulge in a delectable treat made with love and care (not to mention how it makes my house smell). Baking has become a way for me to express my creativity, spread happiness, destress, and create lasting memories.
